Biography

The landscapes of Donna McGinnis are invented, not of any place in particular, but from a lifetime of her experiences. Beautiful places, from the golden hills of California to the wheat fields of the Palouse country of Eastern Washington state, inspire her atmospheric canvases.

Donna McGinnis was born in Spokane, Washington and received her BFA from Washington State University. Her work is included in numerous private collections and is represented in the public collections of the San Francisco Art Museum, the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas, Kaiser Hospitals, Chevron, Lucasfilms, and Saks Fifth Avenue
