Scott Olson

Biography

Artist Scott Olson studied at Concordia College in Minnesota and at Minnesota State University Moorhead, then received his master's degree from the University of Wisconsin. Olson's work consists of interpretations of the landscape and of objects found in nature. The graphic nature of his work is characterized by a combination of austere composition and lively, gestural marks with splashes of color.

Olson exhibits his work widely throughout the United States and Europe and is included in numerous public and private collections. Olson now divides his time between Chicago, Illinois, and Wisconsin.
