Biography
"Painting has always been very important to me...it acts as the magic mirror through which I share my perception of the world." All of Curilova’s paintings start with a small "study" sketch done on paper, followed by a full sketch onto the canvas. She then begins her painting, applying acrylic paint with both brushes and knives. The next stage is to go in and scratch in all the finer details, a precision process that takes a considerable amount of time and patience. Curilova has shown her work in exhibitions across the United States and in her home country of Russia.
