Biography
John Arbuckle was born in New York City in 1953. He received his BFA in painting and printmaking from the New York’s Pratt Institute in 1976. Since then, he has sold his work widely and exhibited in solo and group exhibits in New York City, San Francisco (where he resides), and elsewhere. His work won the Gold and Silver Art of California Discovery Awards, 1994 and 1996 Exhibition Awards from the LANA International Paper Art Composition, and a Bronze Award for printmaking from KTEH-TV, San Jose, 1996.
