Karen Parker

Biography

Born in Chile, Karen Lorena Parker BFA emigrated to Calgary, Alberta and graduated from the Alberta College of Art and Design as a Drawing major. She presently resides in Vancouver, BC with her husband and two children.

Watching a Grade 3 classmate paint blue clouds was the beginning of a fascination with different styles from abstract to realism. Karen's technical expertise has pursued the art of finding the romantic element of beauty in every art period. Proud to be part of the CAP artists, her artwork is found in showhomes across the lower mainland and Greater Vancouver area.
