Emmanuel Cometa

Biography

Emmanuel Cometa was born in the Philippines and grew up in California. He met and married his wife Rose after he immigrated to Canada in 1994.

Cometa is a self-taught artist who has always been fascinated with all types of art, both realist and impressionist. Over the years he has evolved as an artist and improved his technique by studying the work of other artists, attending art shows and meeting new artists. Although he has tried a multitude of different media, oil painting remains his preferred medium to work in. He currently resides with his wife Rose and two daughters.
