Biography
An award-winning graphic designer, Elizabeth (Laurie) Downing has worked primarily in the fine art and textile worlds for the past 25 years, and is co-owner and Creative Director of Poems Art Publishing. Over the years, her belief in the impact of art on society has led her to work with multiple programs which advocate art for youth. Whether overseeing creative/product development for Poems Art, designing Tibetan carpets, learning new computer technology, or assembling materials for mixed media/digital collages, she continues to pursue and enjoy visual art in all forms.
