Biography
Born in the costal town of Tropea in Southern Italy, Rossano was greatly inspired by the surrounding atmosphere and setting of the countryside. Not surprisingly, this familiar landscape began to appear frequently in his work. Imbued with rustic charm, color and light are implemented to highlight each element in his exquisite yet simple compositions. Rossano commonly derives artistic influences from richly colored illuminated manuscripts, folk art, the grandeur of the Renaissance and Impressionist paintings.
