Biography
German artist Raimund Roth studied in Kassel at the University of Fine Arts before commencing his career as a freelance painter. Nature is Raimund’s inspiration and he is particularly fascinated by the transient beauty of the world around him. His floral studies often follow the seasons perhaps capturing the tenderness of new spring growth after a cold winter or depicting delicate poppy seeds in summer. Towards the end of the year he likes to study the way light falls on more mature blooms as autumn approaches. Today Raimund lives and paints from his studio in Fulda in Germany.
