Biography
Andrew Rose was just eleven when he began working in a darkroom with pictures taken by his first camera. Growing up on the Jersey shore, Rose pursued his own unique photographic style, preferring it to the art he saw elsewhere. In 1980, Rose graduated from Florida International University. Rose was inspired when he started working with Auction Catalog Images from Auction Houses around the world. He started the Catalog Kid in 1987, which sells these catalogs after the sales are over. He licenses very specific images that bring out the beauty and uniqueness of an Antique or Collectible. He then designs the layout and size for each poster. He looks for the art in the Artifacts.
