Biography

Butch & Pea first made their name in (illegal) graffiti in Paris at the beginning of the 90s. They left their indelible mark on the grey walls and along the railway lines of the French capital, while imposing their own style, the “Wild Style” from New York, which even today inspires the new generation of graffiti artists.

Although walls remain their favourite medium, Butch & Pea are constantly looking for new challenges: shopping arcades, designer dresses and multimedia, for example. Graffiti remains their way of life: “A WILD STYLE FOR A WILD LIFE…”
