Biography
Gerard Beauvoir was born in a small village in northern France. Inspired by his father’s love of still life and landscape art Gerard took up painting at an early age and delighted in his own ability to accurately reproduce on canvas the objects that surrounded him. As an artist Gerard strives to paint in the most meticulous detail and gains particular enjoyment in depicting light falling on objects or flowers. Gerard still lives in the same area of France where he grew up and finds great peace and enjoyment painting from his quiet, rural studio.
