Biography

Her work and ideas have evolved over the years from a confluence of traditions such as primitive folk art, expressionism, and abstract modernism, which is expressed in the colorful and eclectic paintings she creates.

The process includes laying down various mixed medias, especially old sepia toned papers and other found objects, on stretched artist canvas or paper and then laying down plaster and then painting/drawing on top. She then add and remove layers for a textured, dimensional aged look.
