Dwight Wood

Biography

Dwight Wood, a master printer, whose works are featured in collections around the world, was a founding member of the Phoenix Art Press and later, the founder of Zuma Studios. Wood founded and owns Shakti Studios. His artistic creations continue to be featured in numerous international and national solo and group exhibitions.

Wood’s work is in collections across America, Europe and Asia. His commissions include works for AT&T, Embassy Suites, Double Tree Resorts, TransAmerica, and Bank of America, among scores of other private and corporate collections. His work had been reproduced in posters and in limited editions by top publishers.

Wood works in multiple media: large murals, limited edition monoprints three to 3,000, painting on large and small scale on canvas and paper and sculpture. He has taught and lectured across the country on the art of printmaking.
