Zenon Burdy was born on May 25, 1956. He finished his education with the Fine Art Faculty of Nicolaus Copernicus University in Poland. Zenon is a Canadian artist who has had 15 solo shows and 48 group shows in Poland, Germany, Holland, Japan, USA, and Canada. Zenon has rediscovered some of the trade secrets of the old masters and has applied them with great effects to produce paintings that, while reflective in the technique of the old masters, breathe with a life and character that is unique to his style. Inspired often by biblical themes, locales, sages, and prophecies, Zenon recreates, with an imposing style, the wonders that have captured his thoughts and fired his imagination."
