Women dressedin cheerful and dazzlingly colourful robes stroll around the canvas carrying children close to their bodies like treasures. The painter also captures the woman in her profoundness, her gaze tinged with melancholy and joy, scrutinising the onlooker. The artist paints the joys and sufferings of Africa in an enchanting symphony of colours.
